Is anything alive out there?

Lazarus species are so named because they're gone for a while, or so we thought, then they pop up again, seemingly back from the dead. Jesus wept, it was broadly agreed there were no members of the group still alive, but Bouvier's monkey was back after four decades, and what are we even doing here?
